ChromaHotend

ChromaHead boasts the ability to print at exceptionally high temperatures. The embedded Chroma Hotend can heat up to 350 degrees, also featuring rapid heating and cooling capabilities. This high-temperature capacity offers the advantage of being able to print with a wide variety of filament types. You can effortlessly utilize engineering materials like ABS, ASA, PETG, TPU and PLACF.

Thanks to its integrated bed calibration sensor, ChromaHead automatically adjusts the parallelism between the nozzle and the bed with high precision. This allows you to quickly start printing without the need for manual bed calibration. Automatically performed calibrations are saved and utilized automatically. Within the ChromaScreen software, specially designed interfaces are available, enabling you to easily manage and adjust these calibrations.

Mounting the ChromaHead to 3D printers is incredibly straightforward and practical. It's easily attached using a specialized rail system. This system consists of a connector, adaptable with various mechanical components such as sigma profiles, linear rails, and ball screws, and a rail part directly attached to the ChromaHead. This rail system offers the convenience of connecting the ChromaHead to the printer in a single step, without the need for additional mechanical parts.

ChromaHead is specifically designed for optimal cooling efficiency. Air intake channels located on the right and left edges of the front cover ensure effective airflow. This air is then directed by a cooling fan with a unique blade design, cooling the hotend. Additionally, two other fans within ChromaHead blow directly onto the extruded filament, ensuring rapid cooling of the freshly extruded material. The combination of these three fans and the special air channels allows ChromaHead to effectively cool the filament, even during high-speed prints

With its built-in bed calibration sensor, ChromaHead automatically fine-tunes the alignment between the nozzle and the bed with great accuracy. This means you can kick off your prints without the hassle of manually calibrating the bed. The automatic calibrations are saved and applied on their own. In the ChromaScreen software, there are user-friendly interfaces designed specifically for managing and tweaking these calibrations, making it easy for you to control the printing process.

ChromaHead is built with an advanced cooling setup for maximum efficiency. Air intake channels on both sides of the front cover make sure there's a steady flow of air. This air is guided by a cooling fan with a special blade design to keep the hotend cool. Plus, two more fans inside ChromaHead blow directly onto the printed material, ensuring it cools down fast. With these three fans and clever air channels, ChromaHead stays on top of cooling, even when you're printing at high speed.
